Bidrage med feedbackRoad House Grill was a really nice venue and easy to get a booking with. The entrees were extremely quick to come out and the salt and pepper squid was amazing! The mains took awhile but they were nicely cooked. Definitely recommend the honeycomb brownie as it was extremely delicious! Great service and will definitely be going back.
Decent grub. Was pleasantly surprised after dining at Nicks on Thursday evening; two very decent mains eye fillet steak veg and chicken breast in proscuitto with veg followed by a delicious coconut and lime cheese cake. A nice family atmosphere also.
Average breakfast. When my local Richlands Tavern stopped doing buffet brekky on a Sunday I found out the good ole Jindalee Hotel was stepping up to the challenge. $15 a head and open on Sundays for the buffet brekky 8am to 10.30. Dying for a coffee we were there bang on 8am so imagine my surprise when I saw the coffee urn being taken away. Noooooooooo..................apparently a guy who had beaten us to the punch had complained and it was brought back refreshed he tasted it and declared it fine, I thought it was quite weak. At least it was on tap and you didn 't have to do the instant coffee and hot water thing, but in this day and age a proper coffee machine wouldn 't have been out of place. To be fair, whilst I give it an 'average ' rating my friend thought it was great value for money and I guess that 's what it is for your $15 you get the urn coffee, cereals in the little boxes, DYI toast baskets of cold muffins and pastries (these really should have been under the heat lamps) hot boxes of chipolatas, bacon, scrambled egg, baked beans, tomato, mushrooms, hash browns and plain pancakes. For me the best quality of it all was the pancakes, the chipolatas were rock hard, the scrambled egg very strange, kind of like a slab of tasteless powdered egg stuff, food wasn 't cold but not quite hot either like other diners have said the staff were excellent one of the guys came out while I was mournfully looking at the cold pastries and I asked if it was possible to zap em for a bit, no worries and I got my nice warm pain au chocolat so it was a nice way to end the morning. Sure, we 'll be back, like my friend said for $15 what more do you want?
Good variety on the menu, service was ok, nothing startling. Koftas were a bit bland but the pulled pork burger was awesome. I will be back just for that.
Good value lunch menu. Never having been before I was surprised at the lunch menu for $13 a plate. The portions weren't generous and the salad left a bit to be desired, but overall I would have to say that for $13 it hit the mark. The drinks are good value too. One problem is the glass ceiling over the restaurant and it does become quite warm in the restaurant at this time of year. The airconditioning doesn't seem to be able to keep the area cool and comfortable.
