Bidrage med feedbackCurry was best I have had in Australia!!!! Butter Chicken Beef Vindaloo plus fresh Galic Nan
Modestly priced Indian cuisine.. We were a party of 4 and ordered 1 dish each plus 2 plain rice, 1 share entree plate and 1 share sweet. (very interesting desert. I haven't seen this sweet desert before, but according to expert advice is very common in many parts of India. Although the mains dish size appears to be small, this order was more than enough for all of us and we struggled to consume it all. Very filling food and can select between spicy, mild or creamy dishes. Recommended. I gave this review before I read the other reviews. What I noticed in particular was the number of one star reviews with regard to service and food.. My experience was totally acceptable when I dined in. On further analysis many of the one star reviews were by reviewers with very few reviews and many of the 4-5 star reviews were by reviewers with very many reviews. Interesting.. So for balance, I clicked through to the reviewers other reviews, both high and low star to get an idea of the general tone of a random selection of reviewers reviews of other locations. So if you are feeling bored and have idle time you too can do this and perhaps decide for yourself.
Despite some initial confusion with the server regarding vegan options, the owner assured me that everything on the menu could be made vegan except for the butter chicken. I decided to try the Vindaloo, which was delicious and came with vegetables. The Naan was not vegan, but the Roti was recommended as a vegan option and was also delicious. Although the restaurant had a simple atmosphere and the ambience wasn't amazing, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit.
The service at this restaurant is extremely friendly and the food is delicious, but could use more flavor. There is a nice level of spiciness in the dishes and the bread is tasty. The interior is typical for an Indian restaurant.
We ordered takeout from this small, humble restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and ready quickly, and the staff were very friendly. The onion bhajis were perfectly crispy and spicy, while the garlic naan was buttery and full of garlic flavor. The lamb rogan josh was tender, but the standout dish was the butter chicken. The chicken was cooked to perfection with a slightly charred exterior, and the sauce was creamy and delicious.
