Country Pride - Jessup

I don't know how they do this bad, really. Soup came out barely ahead of the steak, and salad was served along with the meal, leaving me to decide if I wanted to let my steak get cold or push the sides away to eat it. The ribeye was marginal at best. The beans in the soup weren't even fully cooked. The broccoli had obviously been sitting out and was cold and dry, same with the baked potato. Never got the butter or lemon I asked for. Left most of the meal uneaten. Otherwise, the tea and salad were ok, everything else was horrible, including the service. The Denver omlete I was served today says everything I need to know about who cooked it . To put it simply disgusting! It looked like the cook? , put veggies on grill and just cracked eggs on top of them , until they were burnt . I 've never had a crispy omlete before . Thank God they had a steak knife to cut the egg . I would have said something to my server , IF , I thought it would make difference . She saw my breakfast and still served it !!! I never expect much from Country Pride , post Pandemic , but this place is rock bottom . Travel Centers of America , please , get out of the food business !
