Very good vegetarian restaurant with many vegan options. Also available is a tasting menu that is very nice and a good value
Incredible food, but the restaurant wants a nightclub Vibe so has really loud music. Beautiful places, but not a place to come if you want to chat. Apparently expensive, but we gave up and had dessert at a local ice salon! Much better opportunities in the neighborhood
I appreciated the fact that they tried to use a lot of a vegetable in many ways. Unfortunately, it was not a vegetable that I enjoyed too much. But a lot of food is really good.
We arrived at the restaurant to try the vegan offering. I will start by saying that the restaurant is charmingly decorated with lots of plants and an open bar that lets you overlook the whole kitchen. the service was also pleasant and warm. And now for the food, we ordered a mushroom cigar, eggplant tartar and mushroom skewer. The cigar included 3 cigars, a tahini sauce for dipping and a radish cut into large piece. The cigars were great and crunchy and are a great dish to share with someone. The mushroom skewers were very impressive visually, a long skewer on a bed of charred potatoes and under a very thin layer of mashed potatoes and on the side of asparagus. Despite the impressive look the taste was more on the sweet side probably because of the onion cream and less as you would imagine mushroom skewers with a smoky ommi flavor. as for the eggplant tartar dish, I didn 't really liked it of because it had a dominant lemon flavor, the waitress kindly offered to substitute for the meadow blanco dish, a dish of roasted beets that for me was the highlight and the best dish we tried. The flavors were great and I also loved the strawberry twist which was refreshing. Finally for dessert we took the only vegan dessert which was which was the malabi along with mint tea. Unfortunately the malabi was very disappointing in serving, it came in a plastic box that made it look very cheap like something you buy at the supermarket and not at a chef restaurant. As for the taste it was fine, the roasted pistachios were delicious but quite a standard Malabi and not a very impressive dessert. All in all it is fun to have a completely vegetarian restaurant with a large vegan offer in Jerusalem, just need to add more desserts to the menu.
