Bidrage med feedbackWe came to try the vegan options, there were 3 options for pasta (one was not available) and regarding sauces there was a really limited selection. they can choose between a completely basic tomato sauce and a pashush sauce, which is actually a petersil sauce and a very blandes oil. I asked to add tomato sauce to my pasta because the pashush sauce was tasteless. it took a long time until the court came out because the workers confused and my court put in another pocket and additionally made them also a mistake in the beats (which are quite expensive on themselves), although I ordered 2 with mushrooms and aubergins I only got mushrooms.. the service itself was nice, but the dishes themselves did not justify the price, there is not enough vegans.
The pasta is made to house. the sauces seem to be made from fresh ingredients. the portions are very generous and reliable delicious. the spatial areas are clean. the personal is always pleasant. the clientele is eclectic. the location and the seating make it a perfect place for people. Pasta dishes begin at 19nis, suppen and salate are both 15nis. large bargains for quality and prices of jerusalem. it is too foot from the center of the city and on all major public transport. there is always the big bonus that there is in the heart of Machane yehuda the open air market. it is also directly opposite the juice guy this is one of our favorite Go to locate.
There is beauty in simpleness and pasta basta exemplified this, offering fresh pastas and sauces to favorable trips, in the middle of the bustling shuk. What else could you ask for? the pasta’s are either fatucine, spiral, full wheat or gnocchi and are made fresh on the ground. all pastas are between 19 to 26 shekels, depending on sauce. my top recommendation would be the red pesto that has a hit on it, but all sauces are quite solid. the pink beet sauce is really delicious and unique. while the coconut curry adds versatility and is not bad, the taste is a little lacking for me. If you are there, you will notice small red plastic glasses. they are filled with Parmesan cheese that they can use on their heart content. the restaurant is located near the shuk (at aggripas) and lies between the open and covered markets. there can be a line sometimes between 2 to 5 minutes, but it is worth waiting and eating is always ready to order within 5 minutes. my only problem here is the portion size that I feel is just a little too small, so if I go as a couple, I will order in the rule 3 pastas for the 2 of us. as the previous reviewer I would recommend the etrog man’s juice store. if they decide to drink something stronger, pasta basta also serves a home made wine for 10 shekels a glass. After a hectic day of the Schuk shopping, I can honestly think that a better place for a bite and a glass wein than pasta basta stop.
