Rainy sunday dinner was perfect for getting in with my friend.

My favourite place in the neighbourhood! great mood and ambiente, amazing service and delicious food! the best for termine and literally any occasion and any meal!

The menu sounded really promising however overall wasn’t very flavourful. I tried the broccoli soup and pea and chive dumplings. The soup just tasted like puréed broccoli and there weren’t any flavours added to the dumplings, just tasted like they threw peas in them and heated them up. My date got the kimchi fried chicken and it barely had any spice and was also burnt in parts although the non-burnt parts were fried well. The cocktail I got was disappointing too, was supposed to be a hot cider but tasted like mouthwash. Overall I would say the food was edible but too bland.

Possibly the best food i've had in Jersey City. refreshing menu, great ambience and location.

I was very excited for my reservation at Frankie’s, however I was massively underwhelmed by the quality of the food. I ordered the brunch burger (without pickles and the Tim Tam milkshake. I wish I took pictures but the milkshake was more like chocolate milk (maybe the ice cream had fully melted by the time it got to me? and the burger had a generic meat patty (like McDonald’s with a very undercooked egg, and pickles (guess they forgot to remove the pickles . Don’t know why they even bothered asking how I wanted my meat cooked. The pancakes I ordered for my toddler were a better choice. Overall, cool ambiance, ok service, but food quality thumbs down!
