Bidrage med feedbackThis afternoon my wife and I visited our local Olive Garden Restaurant on U.S. 1 in Jensen Beach for first time in almost two years due to COVID. What a change from previous visits! Menu items are expensive and now very limited. I ordered chicken parm which was over cooked and tasteless. The tiny amount of sauce on it and the spaghetti was also different. Even the endless salad bowl seemed to contain a smaller amount of salad. Our server did an good job trying to keep us happy. She was the only good thing we experienced there but sadly, we will not be returning.
This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had in an Olive Garden all the way from the moment we walked in the door to the very end. We waited(3 adults, 12yr old, and 2yr old) for over ten minutes to be seated while literally over half the dining room was empty in the middle of what should have been the end of a lunch rush on a Friday. The food was almost inedible from the spaghetti with meat sauce( 2 different orders of it) to the fettuccine Alfredo. My Tour of Italy was cold when it arrived with dried out, over cooked chicken and fettuccine noodles. Even the children's macaroni and cheese went uneaten, which is unheard of with this kid in particular. We ordered a cup of Alfredo and were charged for a boat after the server misheard and then gave attitude instead of fixing it. If Katherine( I'm assuming the the manager since that's whose name the staff kept asking for) had been doing her job in even the slightest, I would have taken the time to let her know how bad the entire ordeal was, but seeing her seated in the bar area of the dining room most of our visit indicated that she obviously had more pertinent things on her agenda than tending to her staff and guests.
The breads ticks were stale and the chicken Margherita was too sour. I use lemon in some of my own dishes but there was wayyyyy too much in this. I gave it to the server and she took it off the check. My friend had the eggplant parm his was burnt. The noodles tasted like they had been sitting. Oh and my broccolis was cold. My sons chicken Alfredo had been sitting too you could tell by the top layer. Just not good at all. The salad was great and the soup but that's about it. I do not recommend at all. My friend ended up going to the doctor this morning and they said he had food poisoning. Thankfully me and my son were fine.
This Olive Garden was excellent. Very nice staff and our server Andrea was so kind. The food itself tasted so good. I LOVE CHEESE!
I have never had a bad experience at any Oliver garden I have eaten at.
