Teote House Cafe - Jennings Lodge

Maybe it's different when you dine in, but we ordered food to go and nothing was what it claimed to be on the menu. I ordered the nachos and only received chips, smoky queso, and queso fresco. No smoked gouda or crema. Honey butter arepa was hard and dry with no hint of honey or butter. Terrible first impression. Jalapeño arepa had no jalapeño in it.

Music is a bit loud, but the delicious food and drinks make up for it. Try the Pina lemon margarita with Mezcal…heaven!

Really miss the upper patio that they closed during the pandemic but I love the food and drinks.

This place is a hole in the wall!!! Wow! So good! So much flavor and so good for you. Wowowowo. Will be back!!

Food is still good as always, but now served on paper plates by crabby chefs for the original prices. Ground floor seating (tiny, drafty, no charm) only. No more upstairs or fire pit in the back. Freezing cold drafts pouring down blocked stairs. Go to their other locations.
