Lilly's Authentic Indian Cuisine

Definitely a welcomed addition to the restaurant scene in Jenkintown. We have eaten there and have gotten takeout during COVID restrictions . Food is generally good. May favorite is the cauliflower Manchurian appetizer and there are several vegan options. Parking is always a challenge as metered parking in the back is very limited and shared with several other restaurants and a movie theater in the area.

Ordered at 18:12 was told my order would take 30 minutes. I waited until 18:57. I spoke with the manager and he brushed it off and blamed the delay on the restaurant being busy. He was very nonchalant. On top of that, I ordered a masala chai and was given two sugar packets. Come on! The chicken tikka masala was horrible. I am very displeased with my order and the service. I will NOT be going back. I spent $40 and I really want my money back.

Legitimately wonderful food marred by poor service. They haven't hired the same quality of staff that they had when they first opened. Moreover, takeout logistics are an absolute nightmare. Whatever time they tell you to show up to pick up food, add 20 minutes to it. Don't bother to call ahead, they simply don't pick up the phone and their voice mailbox is full. Shame to pass up such a skilled local kitchen but it's honestly not worth the hassle.

The food is decent but the service makes it not worth it. I put in a to-go order at 5pm for a 6:30 pickup. I didn't get my food until 6:55. They didn't even offer a simple apology for the wait. When I got home the Chicked Tikka was maybe luke warm. Not worth the prices that charge.
