Bidrage med feedbackVisit the city for a few days and Googled best BBQ in Louisville and Fest often came in several top 10 lists for BBQ in Louisville. Tuesday afternoon at 1:00. It was pretty quiet with maybe 5 other groups. Ordered Disc Brise Plater that comes with 2 pages - I ordered collar and Mac n cheese. Many interior and exterior seats. Most of them are joint. Beautiful mood and very clean. Service was good, but the restaurant was slow and lunch, so the staff was not overdue. The brisket was very good, very tasteful and moist, good fat parts added to the taste. The Collards were also very good, but super eggs. I like her like that, but others don't like it. Mac N Cheese was okay. It had strange texture, but the taste was there. They had 2 sauces original and spicy. Both were good, but not great. Really the brisket 't need a lot of taste added. I had high expectations and was satisfied, but not blown away. However, I will stop here and try out some different articles.
The flavors of this place are incredible! Honestly. We had smoked wings and a brisket sandwich with two sides of Mac and cheese and potato salad. The potato salad was AMAZING. I'm not even a big fan of potato salad, but was incredible. I would definitely stop here. Only the reason why I give four stars instead of five is because we had the Bourbon loop and it is really almost impossible to drink recycled between paper straws and plastic, they simply break and it is so icey that it does not slip out of the cup. It was just annoying to see the **** there and not drink it. Others then very big.
Excellent bbq in a unique environment, an old workshop building. On par with the best Bbq chicken sandwich I had everywhere.
Banana pudding was the best I ever had! You want to know the recipe! Brisket was as dry as a dead person in the desert in Arizona. But pork was great.
This is a great location… LOTS of outdoor seating. So I will say it is a tad expensive compared to other BBQ I have had. Louisville is NOT a BBQ hot spot so compared to Texas or KC it’s not in the same ballpark BUT it is good and better than most I’ve had in Kentucky… I had the pork sandwich. What they do have is an Ale 8 One (Kentucky Ginger Ale) and Bourbon Slushie other places around serve these also but this is hands down the best one! It’s a MUST when you go here. I give 4 stars on food, 5 stars on atmosphere and excellent outdoor seating, and 5+ stars for the Bourbon Slushie!
