Maligne Lake's View Restaurant - Jasper

After enjoying a lovely cruise on Maligne Lake, my party and I decided to stop at this restaurant for a glass of wine and a scenic view. Despite the fact that it was only 4:40, one of the servers rudely informed us that the restaurant was closed, even though their listed hours are 12-5. Disappointed but determined, we approached one of the bartenders to see if we could at least purchase a glass of wine. Thankfully, they were more accommodating and led us to a table. However, our server Ansh adamantly refused to serve us, claiming that he had already told us they were closed. This lack of respect and poor customer service is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. It's clear that Ansh could benefit from better training on how to treat customers. Sadly, this experience has driven us away and we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Our tour group made a reservation at the restaurant for lunch and enjoyed fantastic food, excellent service, and amazing views. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes.

The view is best if you can dinate in good weather as it is outside. Our day was perfect so we could sit and enjoy the lake at dinner. The food was good, but a bit expensive as you would expect in such a... setting. The staff was attentive and prompt.

Amazing menu and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. If you love chilling out in nature, you will love it here. Plenty of surrounding trails and lake activities to enjoy. Lots of nearby hiking spots and lake activities to keep you entertained.

We went in for a couple pints and a burger after paddling the morning away on maligne lake. Our server Noah was very friendly with a great personality and mustache. We liked him, the juicy burger and the beer so much we had a second...pint and then decided to take his trail recommendation and hike the bald hills trail which despite the signs was 15 km and 780 m of elevation 10/10 reccomend the view, 10/10 reccomend Noah, 2/10 reccomend the second pint before slogging your way up a mountain. Great experience all around.
