Dairy Queen (treat) - Janesville

I was thrilled to find a DQ here in my new city. You can't make burgers and pommes, but the cool cheese dog was absolute perfection and tasted as I remember. And the mint Chocolate Chunk Blizzard hit the spot! I'll be back again and again. Just what the doctor ordered for this Texas girl.

To give four stars because usually my experience here is great. Usually high schoolers work, but they try their best and never were rude. Firstly, something was wrong that they were happy to correct. However, I take a start because of the inability to reach someone by phone here. I was hoping to check if they were selling cakes, because they were only 5 calls distributed over a few hours and nobody picked up. I didn't want to go through the drive thru to ask just one question. Unfortunately, I went somewhere else.

The owner, Tom, is so nice. We've been here a long time. Today we came by, as our boys promised, after their shots at the doctor's office. Tom was there and explained that they were closed for the season as they usually do, and since we were back in the car, he quickly came out and offered us an ice cream cake. I can't tell you how this made our boys' day. You were thrilled. Great furnishings and family. Thank you.

I like this situation on the east side, as it is also closer to home.

The family and I love going to DQ for some family ice cream time! Had a chocolate brownie extreme and it was delicious!! Good ice cream and good prices.
