Chubby Bubba's - Janesville

The food is great! I enjoy getting sandwiches pizzas from here.

The food was the star. We almost walked in and right out as it had a total dive bar feel, but boy are we glad we stayed.

Chubby Bubba's has been my top favorite in the area right behind Tony and Maria's for a long time. I usually get the Meatzza when ordering. It's always been so good until recently. One of the biggest reasons I like the pizza so much is the toppings they use. The sausage and ham specifically. No other pizza place in the area had ham like Chubby Bubba's. They were big and thick pieces which you don't see in pizza places It's been a little bit since I ordered a pizza, so the other day I finally did. I have to say I was not impressed at all. The toppings all taste different and the ham is now a diced ham which I definitely do not like. I give the review 3 stars because the food itself is ok, but it's just not as good as it was before. I get that costs have risen across the board for restaurants, but I feel like they could have kept the toppings they had and raised the prices a little. I think that would keep people around longer than just changing altogether. I doubt I'll be ordering from them again and that's a real shame. This meat lovers pizza was just so good. Not anymore unfortunately

My go-to place for pizza and wings in Beloit. Bubba Works, thin crust is my fav. It takes them about a beer to make a pizza, so I never call ahead, preferring to order and wait with a beer!
