Lone Star Rib House Brews Penrith

I have eaten at lone star quite a few times now. We were met with friendly staff who jumped straight into organising our drinks. The food has gotten 110% better since the last time I ate there 8 months ago. They sang and clapped for my son for his birthday. The portion sizes for the schnitzels are huge and it doesn’t taste mass produced. The cocktails were impressive and my fussy kids could’ve licked the plate if i had let them. Service: Dine in

My wife and I thought we enjoy a meal whilst around Pemrith. We.found the large eatery area on the river. We decide to eat at the Lonestar. There was hardly anyone in there eating so we were told to sit any we would like. So we did. As we were.sittimg we noticed a waiter taking a custo.ers order so we thought someone would be over soon. 25 mins later we were still sitting there, 3 wait staff just chatting as they were not busy, making drinks for themselves, no one came over to offer table water or a drink order or even take our food order. So we got uo and started to leave as one wait person said is there a problem to us saying yes, we have not received any service for 25 minutes what do you think is a problem. So we went next door to Riverview restaurant to amazing service and beautiful food. Very poor Lonestar.

Well below average I came here like 5 months ago and the people, food and service was awesome. It was so good I came back twice in one week while visiting penrith. This time, however, was horrible. The beef ribs were cold, the food took almost 1.5 hours to come out. Brought it up with the staff member, and she literally said it always happens now. New management and owner. At that exact moment, I saw an older female manager fighting with another customer. I 've also read their responses to other feedback, its clear they don 't care. This place has gone down the drain. Won 't be back.

Slow, understaffed and underwhelming. we ended up leaving after the meal to go to the coffee club for desert and drinks. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

After waiting for 40 minutes we were finally served. My kids meals didn't come out and my wife's fish was cold. We were eventually served our children's meals about an hour and a half after ordering. We ordered lemonades for the children but the tap had run out of lemonade flavour so our kids had a soda water. After talking with the manager they quickly fixed the two problems about the meals and the drinks and didn't charge us for them and offered my wife a wine to replace the cold fish. It was nice for them to try and fix the problems, but it wasn't a busy day. Would have been nice if they could have got it right the first time.
