Penny's - Jamestown

I ordered thru grub hub. I ordered the 4 item combo and key lime pie with sweet tea. I got apple pie intead of key lime and they left the flounder out of my 4 item combo. Actually 5 item because i paid extra to add scallops. Food wasnt bad but need to check orders before they send them out.

Have been coming to this restaurant with my family for over 10 years. Delicious family run, locally owned restaurant. Casual with something on the menu for everyone. I usually get Italian, my mom seafood and dad a veggie plate. highly recommend!

I have to share the terrible experience we had here. After being told from the owner that we would be able to use the left side of dinning area for our private party of 22 and said we could come 1 hour before and decorate as we wanted.(this was a 65 birthday party The entire staff was rude from start to finish. They watched us decorate with flowers and balloons and table cloths with mad faces on. Started fussing loudly from the kitchen so we could hear. The owner was yelling never again . We were told as long as the wait staff could be released at 830 there was no problem on our time(the day we reserved it . That night at 7 they started to complain. They told my 65 year old mother that the people were poor tippers. Our party had not even ended. (They did not know we had also planed to leave a huge tip on the table at the end of party for our gratitude. the owner also told her that she had a quest pay and not tip. (Not true they even remarked about his race! I was appalled! As we continued to try and make them happy with giving more and more money. They fussed loudly asking us to get out stuff out. We had it all out the door by 8:06....this was again after she said we would not be rushed . all the wait staff complained loudly about our decorations (which insulted my mother .I have NEVER SEEN SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL OWNERS AND STAFF! EVER! I would recommend never to go there.! Especially after the racist tip comment! LET ME ADD ALSO THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY THEY HAD US. THE OTHER SIDE OF RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. I only witnesses 3 other people dine. Also a red flag! No other people wanted to eat there. I see other reviews about there rudeness. I wish I had read before!

Excellent! Perfect Service and always a great meal. Highly Recomend. Super Seafood, great Italian dishes, love the club sandwiches! Been dining here many many years.

My fried oysters were watery and smelled fishy like bad fishy. They tasted as if they were frozen first. Then always has something to the owner seemed frustrated with the sand told us that people have been saying that all day but there's nothing wrong with the oysters. I left a tip for the waitress for having to still serve the table but instead of coming back and asking if we needed anything else or even apologizing they just stood in the back saying they're still there sitting down and we heard them from the table talking about us. Never again!!
