Bidrage med feedbackI was so pleased to find the word Vegan! On the menu board. I got the hummus plate with veggies and pita, and it was delicious. The hummus was house made, which is really the only way I like it. The carrot and cucumber slices were fresh, and the pita points were warm and yummy. There 's really nowhere else in Jamestown for food, so it 's great to find the Carrot Tree when you 're hungry. Prices are reasonable as well, which was unexpected. Staff are lovely too. Oh, and there 's a patio overlooking the river, so quite enjoyable.
I was so pleasantly surprised to find this place with lots of vegetarian and vegan options right on site at historic Jamestowne. Everything is made off-site so you can't get one of the wraps that contain cheese made without it. But, they do have a terrific hummus plate and an onion wrap with hummus. When I was there they also had a yummy gaspacho. The prices are also very reasonable for an on-site concession.
It's definitely a nice place to take your mom out Very few Williamsburg places offer vegan selections. Not including the pop-ups
I was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant in historic Jamestowne, which offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Everything is made fresh, avoiding pre-packaged ingredients commonly used in cheese alternatives. They serve a fantastic hummus plate alongside an onion flatbread paired with hummus. During my visit, they also had a delicious gazpacho. The prices are quite reasonable for a local eatery.
After a disappointing experience with food in the area, our expectations were quite low. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hummus wrap I ordered. The plate featured fresh, well-prepared vegetables, and even the pita bread was fresh and warm. The hummus was thick and flavorful, making for a delightful meal.
