Bidrage med feedbackWe are from Chicago where Italian food is King. I also grew up dining on Italian food my entire life. My mother learned from her Italian father who was a chef himself. This was our first trip to Virginia and we are in our 50’s. We absolutely love Italian food ! Know good from great Italian food. When we pulled up to Francesco’s we almost just drove off but this place came highly recommended. We did not understand why based on the outside. But when we entered and were greeted by staff we became convinced this was a good place to eat. Enes our server was fantastic and was well informed about the menu and specials and was extremely personable. The appetizer was fantastic. The bottle of wine that Enes recommended was the absolute best. The food we ate could not have been any more flavorful. Having eaten some of the best Italian food in the world, I was extremely surprised and extremely satisfied with the food my wife and I ordered. The Terimesu was out of this world. We met with the owner and the Chef of Francesco’s after our meal. He was extremely polite. If this restaurant was in Chicago or the Chicagoland area, it would be impossible to get a table without at least a 3 month in advance reservation. I recommend Francesco’s for anyone who is a serious Italian food connoisseur. We wish this restaurant was where we lived so we could eat there at least once a week.
Had a great atmosphere and vibes for a small local Italian restaurant Mozzarella appetizer was fresh and a great flavor and fried cheese was tasty as well 4 stars as Cannoli was not good as you would expect that is be one of the best desserts Overall, I would recommend but avoid desserts may be to be on the safe side :
Extremely friendly place. Real deal Italian. Delicious food and genuine specials. Very nice place to being the family. My son said this junk bussin`
The bolognese was exceptional, and I definitely plan to return to this restaurant.
The house wine is no bueno and they don’t do the good wines by the glass- very weird for an Italian place! Understanding this is a family place in Virginia- the pasta was not handmade but it was tasty. Service was also very good. Prices were moderate! Lobster ravioli was very yummy!
