Edgewood Bakery. - Jacksonville

It's in the perfect spot. In the middle of a bunch of cute little shops on Hendricks. Pretty much only street parking available but there always seems to be an open spot. The prices are a bit high for wedding cakes and specialty cakes. It's in a pretty nice area so I'm sure people in the area don't think the prices are high but I thought the cakes at Publix were better and a better deal. It's a cute shop though with sweet people.

I don't really see the hype over this place. People rave about the pastries and sweets but I thought it was over priced and that the service was kind of rude. The lady behind the counter ignored us until we asked if we could be helped. Even then she wasn't friendly at all. Just got the stuff and rang us up. They had some tea pots and stuff inside for sale too but a lot of stuff didn't have priced and we didn't want to bother the woman behind the counter again.

This is such a cute little bakery. They have branched out in the last few years and bought their own little building next to the place where they have been for years. The food is amazing. They also have a little patio outside to sit and eat.

Community Loaves is one of my favorite local bakeriesI'm in love with their bread- all sourdough.

I have more place off my "Bucket List"! I am so glad I finally found them open while I was in the area.
