Bidrage med feedbackGot the low country boil and the gator bites. I loved the gator bites, and the low country boil was pretty good. The crab legs and shrimp were my favorite in there. I loved the atmosphere and the blue solo cups.
Absolutely unique fish camp with stuffed animals on walls and display. Food is off the charts good, 5 stars. Big servings that definitely can be shared and still be full...
Do you like hunting and fishing, or perhaps taxidermy, how about good food, well Clark's Fish Camp Seafood Restaurant delivers on all of the above. Walking up you feel as though your entering and old time fish camp on the side of the river. As you make your way into the restaurant you are greated by a live alligator in a display which is surrounded by taxidermy that would rival even Bass Pro Shop or Cabela's. From small game like ducks and quail, to large exotic game like a giraffe, lion, tigers and even bears (oh my). Every room of the restaurant has different animals sure to draw your attention. As you are seated and begin to scan the menu you will quickly realize that it too is loaded with an impressive variety of cuisine that will leave you pondering how many items you can try, and how soon you can come back for the rest! A definite seasonal favorite of my family's is the Adelie's Rockafellies which is their take on a Oysters Rockefeller and is one of the best I've ever had. Our other menu favorites were the blackened fish, and the fried gator tail. If your feeling adventurous there is also a variety of other wild game available on the menu. Do expect a wait if you visit during peak hours, reservations are definitely encouraged, but the atmosphere and food are definitely worth the wait. Whether you are a Jacksonville local or just passing through, this is definitely a stop you will want to make.
The people are great! Interesting decor for the hunter in you. The pet alligator is always a fan favorite. She's getting big! And the food? If you like onion rings they serve them by the truckload! Can't wait to try their new brunch.
Love the really cool stuffed animals, this isn't Julington Creek Fish Camp... dress down, relax by the water. The food was delicious!! My new #1 favorite for Gator tail. Did not have to wait on a table, waiter was awesome. Bummed no soft shell crab( my son was), apparently because market price was too high so not even mad. Overall the food was great( All entrees, shrimp, deviled crab) atmosphere laid back. Side Mac n cheese- it's like gross. The crab cakes were definitely sub par.
