Bay Street Grill - Jacksonville

After playing Sunday we went for a walk to find a place to eat / drink. Bay Street has been highly rated on Google- not sure why. The staff has no hospitality concept that tells you to order in harmony. Why do you have a bar if you don't want to serve people? The blonde was just worried about leaving, the brunette didn't say anything, and than the third. Barkeeper jumpsuit red hat came, they caught water and red bull and hung out. Nobody seemed to want to take care of someone. I get game days are busy, but the staff should be able to wait.

Four stars because they had no boneless chicken wings. The staff was friendly and polite. Many recommend:

We ordered the burgers. There were too many buns for the 4 ounce burger. The tomatoes were end pieces that you would not normally use. We received the same end pieces of tomatoes. We spent more time waiting at the bar to order food, waiting to order drinks, and waiting to pay than actually eating. There were only about 10 people in the place. The music was terrible trance music. It was definitely not a rave. We will not be returning.

This cozy dive bar and grill in the center of the neighborhood is a great spot to enjoy dinner and drinks before hitting up Myth, Underbelly, or 1904. I particularly love their hotdogs, but everything I've tried here has been fantastic!
