Aw Shucks Oyster Arcade - Jacksonville

What a great concept, casual eating with pool table, arcade, dining and oyster bar in the open. I was very excited to eat here in florida. we had the speck wrapped garnel, oyster rockefeller, calimari, raw and steamed oysters and everything was really good! I would have given 5 stars, but both of them we went table service was terrible, they looked exhausted and seem to work sharpened. the shovel at the oysterable was very friendly and the dame, which in our cards for toys from the arkade took place! I will definitely go back because eating and concept of the place was great.

First I give shucks a 4 but it was really close to 3 and was rescued by a care manager who stopped by and then sat and heard our care and comments. we came at 8 o'clock with our party of 8. we wanted to sit outside, but since it was karaoke night, we decided to sit. the team was on the place and within a few minutes put our table for 8 up. shawn, which offers a great job all night, was our server and took our drinks orders...a cash order came fast, but 4 simple cash drinks for always from a not so busy bar 3 . it was taken food orders and here must improve shucks. gumbo and seafood chowder were very good, but came warm not hot 4 . Greek salate was good. the escape was the next. my low country boil was a 2, because it was too spicy and the sausage was almost ineisable. bills stuffed mushrooms were 1 tasteless and dry. fish tacos were 5 excellent. the side of the green bean collars were good. fries are interesting with another spicy coating. Chicken tenders should come with dressing on the side, but came with hot sauce 2. wings were also good and came as ordered. peta roast beef was also a bit dry 3 . As we mentioned with the manager bill the big pastrami sandwich he saw on the menu but did not want to take a chance on a 2lb sandwich without getting a sample. good thing that he was not as the pastrami was dry and had a heavy smoker taste and had got zero. bill suggested that they contact pastrami ronnie and use that. overall we enjoyed our meal with the children who love arcade and bill, even sang a karaoke song as we have gone and will return to the future.

Had a great experience in this night I am sad that I forgot the name of our server (she trained a new hit,) but she was phenomenal and very patient with a first timer. the eating was great I ordered the teufel crawling and clam strips both were great, and the beside dishes of mac n cheese and sweet potatoes were also quality. I would rethink without doubt and encourage potential first timers to stop by.

Excellent seafood and oysterable! we had the oyster rockefeller, ahi tuna and crab stuffed mushrooms, nachos and lemon pepper wing with the mango Habanero sauce on the side. everything was delicious, and the staff was super with fast service. the prices were very appropriate for the quality of food and food. this is now my favorite seafood place in the opposite great job!

VERY GOOD the food was delicious. I should've got the oysters raw (steamed medium slightly overcooked) but the flavor was On Point for every dish I'm a satisfied customer Service was TopNotch *ask for Kayla
