Bidrage med feedbackWhat a great place. 1st time there and I will definitely go back. All the food was delicious. Our server gave the extra touch. He had recommendations and he was very knowledgeable and informative about the menu.
Please do not let this photo fool you. I haven't been this disappointed in an experience in a long time. When me and my friends arrived we were greated and told it would be a few minutes wait. They gave us a pager and we waiting. The pager never actuallywent off and thankfully we were close because he verbally let us know our table was ready. The service was very VERY bareminimum, horrible, and unprofessional. It took 10 mins for our server to take our drink order. Another 10 to get the drinks. Wewere interested in the build your own charcuterie board but there wasn't a list of options to pick from on the menu. Tookanother 10 mins for him to circle back. We asked for assistance with the options which he said they had a separate menu with theitems on it. I'm thinking why not give each table this list to save the hassle.... Waited 5 mins before getting the menu. Thephoto I posted was the medium size and was $49. That board is enough for 2 people and maybe a 3rd if everyone eats very light. Ialso opted to do the bottomless mimosas. I ordered sweet with orange juice and it was literally the worst mimosa I have EVERhad! When he finally came back around I asked for another with apple. That one was ok but I didn't taste much champagne and itwas very weak. I paid for the bottomless mimosa which was $19.95 and the service was so horrible I only had the 1 drink theentire time. I literally could have paid $8 for one mimosa. I'm thankful that another team members brought over our food whichwas hot. The food was served on a ugly cutting board which I wasn't expecting because of all the pictures of it being service onthe circle wood and some had tiers. The food was just ok. Nothing special. It's like theme park food sort of. Super expensiveand nothing special. Once we were done we asked for the check. We waited 20 mins and still no check. He came back and asked ifwe were ok and reminded him we been asked for the check. He brought the check back back and walked away.
Four of us thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Tulua! The bottomless mimosa pours are legit, but so is the food! I recommend the spicy king chicken and waffles not too hot, just tasty. Eddie made sure our group were well attended to and alsothoroughly welcomed and enjoyed our experience.
I really wanted to give this restaurant a 5 because of everything they stand for, but I just couldn't do it. I was not pressed by the food. The biscuits and gravy were very much a mushroom gravy and not appealing to me at all. The burrito was very soggy,I think mainly from the beans. No big deal, but it lacked a lot of flavor without hot sauce. If you are in the beaches area Iwould recommend the place for sure, but it was a trek for me and not worth the drive.
We have gotten the Chefs choice charcuterie board 3 times and it is delicious. Both boards pictured are the large on separate visits. My favorite thing on there is definitely the French toast, so good! Go with the chefs choice instead of the build yourown. Not only is it $20 cheaper but you will not be disappointed!
