Twist Midtown Grill - Jackson

The first time I ate here was nice. Food was good with timely service. This most recent time was terrible! We were in a group with reservations. Our food came out very disorganized and sporadic. One person still didn't have his food 20 minutes after the rest of us had finished! My food was COLD even after I sent it back because it wasn't the right order! Terrible! This place needs kitchen help!

Kind of sad. The staff was nice. It was pricey and the food was old fashioned. This place charges as much as a supper club and tries to give the feel of upscale but it really isn't. Everything was old. I had a metal fork and a plastic knife? The drinks were not strong. It is also very small inside.

Had an impossible time trying to get a reservation for Easter or Mother 's Day. We went as walk ins for Mother 's Day. It was $72.00 for my husband and myself, mother of 4, grandmother of 16 and great grandma of 1. Our primary reason for going was the prime rib and shrimp. Well the prime rib was all well done, the manager even went in the back and came out saying all of the prime rib was well done, that 's how we cook it the shrimp was mealy. Even the mashed potatoes

Had a very good experience here. We wanted a nice dinner that wasn?t a chain restaurant and Twist delivered it all. We started with the very tasty fried green tomatoes, then ribeye for me and shrimp and grits for my dad, then the delicious desserts snickers pie (which was very good but prolly should be renamed to a turtle cheesecake) and the Jack Daniels Pecan Pie (loved it). The food was all great, but my dad thought the shrimp and grits were lacking a bit of seasoning,

I love the staff, food, and cocktails! The seats at the bar could use some improvements, but they're not bad enough to knock a star off. The bartenders are always sweet and friendly, and the servers are tentative and accommodating!
