Bidrage med feedbackWay from the beaten track, but we will be worth screaming and finding. 101 years old, still from descendants of the founder. Stone house, cozy wood cladding, working fireplace in the bar. Some of the most delicious and authentic Italian cuisine I've ever had. Full bar, well curated wine list. Very good old world service, waitress was great granddaughter of the founder, knows the history of the area and the restaurant. Will always return when in the Jackson area
This is an original Italian family restaurant that is out of the way and is hidden on the back roads. The staff welcomes you as they are looking forward to seeing you and welcome you in their house. You have a page menu, but it is still difficult to choose which meal. You start every meal with a minestrone soup, followed by salad and then followed by the main course. I wouldn't pass the Tiramisu for Dessert. The exterior is very deceptive that there is room for five tables, but there are several dining areas and a full bar. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Great food, amazing history, super service. I can't say enough good things about this place. We were not sure how family-friendly it was and yet they made us feel at home with two little ones. I am about an hour and 45 minutes from here (we were in an Rv park nearby) and we will make the trek back for dinner only.
I had Ravioli, that was very good the sauce was excellent. I also had a small bowl of mine straw, very good. I had some Sierra Nevada Pale Ales. Everything was great.
Even though I've so far only been here once, the staff are nice friendly, the food is great, there's a nice ALC selection. If you like to drink Alcohol instead of just sodas water.
