Restaurant Muul - Izamal

Fucked into the main square, we dived in for the cold lemonade and some guacamole. The staff was friendly and our little snack was delicious.

Good food, but not exciting, slow service. They took half an hour to serve the first to last person in our 7 group. We didn't eat together. The food here was better than everywhere else I ate in Izamal, except of course Kinich, that was my most beneficial meal in the Yucatan.

Small plates, normal taste, nothing amazing, expensive price. Surely there must be better places.

Wish there were a spot between average and very good. Somehow the food did not come off as typico. Tried the pollo Yucatecan style and it was luke warm nesting in its banana leaves, though juicy. The tortillas were hot. The pork dish in cubes tasted just like the one down the street the day before. Service excellent, Good people watching as familias pull up on motos to pay their cable TV bills. Not my fave.

Restaurante a un costado del convento, buena calidad y de precio muy razonable, a lo mejor les hace falta algo de variedad en las bebidas, tener edulcorantes para los que no pueden tomar azúcar , pero en general tanto el poc-chuk, las diferentes salsas de pepitas, el chile habanero y los tamales super. Buen precio y calidad.
