The State Diner Of Ithaca

This is the worst breakfast I have ever had. The toast was wet. The potatoes were chemically and soft and burned. the Baklava was the worst Ive ever had and also tasted like chemicals. the 2 Eggs Any Style were not seasoned at all and very overcooked. the Florentine Omelette was also unseasoned and soggy and chemical tasting.

Excellent food, excellent portions. The omelettes are made perfectly, and the home fries are simply delicious.

I had my first meal in the diner, and I was so satisfied that I had to write it. It was excellent, the service of the time we went to the time we were, was second to none! Our waiter was not only so polite; he made sure we had everything, and was always there with coffee refills. I have to say that the difference between Florida and NY is so beautiful that I will eat there every week. Definitely a first class diner!

Service was great and food was really good. My wife had the chicken and waffles and I had the smothered turkey sandwich. Sorry didn't take pics but it was delicious. Only recommendation for that is to put it on a thicker bread so it's easier to handle with the gravy.

I was so impressed how busy they are and still was there to refill coffee without hunting someone down! Very tentative!!
