Bidrage med feedbackSecond time, if you cannot make up your mind on selections then don't go. Loved!!!! All the stouts. Next time the selections will be...?
Great brewery located in Itasca in a kind of unassuming area. It may not look like much from the outside, but it's a lot better inside. Church Street Brewery isn't actually located there but rather in some warehouse on Industrial that you wouldn't know would have a brewery. Pretty good selection of beers to choose from. There's also food like pizzas and pretzels. Came on the weekend and it had a crowd but wasn't too busy. It helps that the inside is pretty large. This place can hold a ton of people. Has a lot of beers on the menu. It's about $8 a pint, which may be kind of high but not unusual for a smaller batch brewery like this. Best one we had was the Cerbierus. This is a lactose free hazy IPA. Also there's food. It's about $9 for shareables such as the Giant Soft Pretzel. Also there's pizzas and pork sliders as this place does a lot of barbecue. They also have entertainment such as live music. Even though it's in a crappy industrial park it still has a pretty cool atmosphere once you get in. It's been around awhile so they have come up with lots of beer styles to check out. There's also a kitchen and sometimes there's food trucks.
Tried all of their sours and the Lemon Cream Sour one was by far my fave. Not a huge German beer type of gal but the ItascaFest Marzen Lager was good. Snoozed on the delicious looking pizzas but ordered their Sriracha Maple Bacon instead and it was super flavorful. Will be back to try their 'zas for sure. Enjoyed live music as well from a performer by the name of Johnny Don 't a storyteller and talent to check out.
IPAs were very good and the friendly service was even better! Truly dog-friendly and availability of parking was a big bonus. As visitors from out-of-state traveling in a vehicle with our pooch, we had great difficulty finding “dog friendly” (per Google reviews) venues that actually allowed dogs and had on-site parking. Staff kindly suggested a few other places we might be able to visit, as well.
Great beer, food, and people. Beer is entirely on point. A diversified beer selection that had some awesome surprises. Old fashion is top notch. A full service brewery with wine, soda, and mixed drinks. A destination for sure with nice baking yard that's dog friendly. We will definitely go again.
