Dolce Cono - ISOLA DELLE FEMMINE

On our walk back after lunch we stopped for tub of ice cream, 3 flavours. Lots to chose from. The extra fondent was really chocolatey.

Classic pistachio ice cream was amazing... Personal preference with the cocco really was fantastic! Suggested to try the Gelsi Sicilian ice cream by the staff... Was a real treat!! Tried it with pistachio and Nutella flavours, and it was the perfect midnight snack!! Staff were absolutely welcoming. We got offered free fresh cream on top and melted chocolate, which made the gelato even better. You can choose if to take it away, enjoy it seated in a charming garden with tables and chair at the back of the shop, or just have it seated on the sand with an amazing view of the coast! Absolutely amazing, we will definitely come back!!! Shame there is not 6 stars' rating option!! Must try it if stopping in the area

We stopped at Isola delle Femmine for one night, just to check the surf the morning after and we parked our van near this gelateria . We had a salad for dinner to make sure we had enough room for a big serve of gelato.. Well, we didn 't expect anything like it! We had 3 flavours each with wiped cream and some hot melted chocolate on top and, to complete this piece of art, a little waffle cone that seamed a witch 's hat! I was so light that we wanted more! We went back the morning after, which was their last shift before closing till March, and we had the same! Divine! I would come here every day if I could! Very friendly and young staff as well! Loving this place!
