Trangallan - Islington

I live locally but this was the first time I had been. Incredible food. Lovely service. Wish I’d come sooner! Very much recommend.

The food was very well presented and delicious! Tuna tartare is a must, so is the octopus. The service is knowledgeable, informal and with a smile, just what you need on a Sunday afternoon. Outdoor tables are beautifully set in the ‘piazza’ in front of the main entrance, and if it is a sunny day like today, the dream is ON! Thank you Trangallàn you were the highlight of the day for me and undoubtedly a must return x

Incredible as always. Have been going for 6 years regularly and can't fault the food or service.

The portions of food are too small and overpriced. The staff was extremely rude. I visited the restaurant twice and both times the food was bad and the service from the staff was rude. The quality of the food is also poor. I will never be returning.

We agree with most of the other reviewers the food is excellent, service is great, but the food is overpriced. The wine list is pricy too, with the cheapest red at around £27.00. Having got that out of the way their octopus stew is the best I've ever eaten, and the ham croquetas and the lemon ginger broccoli are very good indeed. So maybe we will return...
