Qschicken - Islington

If you like chicken this is the place. When we got the menu i was like whaat? I had no idea you could do so many types of chicken. Anyway, my southern fried chicken was very good.

I have been going here for about 4 years and the curry's are amazing. I have never had a problem or gotten food that was old, having said that I have never had the chicken/burger/fries/kebab. The only food I have always order is the currys and spicy foods. They do make a really nice lamb curry which is what I always order, is quite hot but I have heard that most of their warm dishes are similar to proper Pakistani food. I have also tried the nihari, biriyani and the vegetable currys as well. They have really good food and at a very affordable price. The place itself is not the best if you are looking for a restaurant. It is a chicken shop so it might be a place where you go at a night out but maybe not for a quiet dinner. I recommend you get food to go.

Never going back here again! Having had a chicken kebab with chips (Meal #17) and also some spicy chicken wings, it made me violently sick within a few hours of eating it. Not surprising really having seen the chef, cleaning the grill with the dirtiest looking cloth I have ever seen holding it with the tongs he was also using to turn the raw chicken as it cooked. Average tasting food anyway, wouldn't get much customer if there was a KFC anywhere nearby.

I visit at least once a week. They do the best tasting chicken and many varieties you have never heard of. Friendly service and decently priced for kings cross.

My nan lives down the road and whenever we go there chicken and chips is a must. The menu is great, the staff are even better and the food is fast with generous portions. I love KFC but this place kicks their bottoms in so many ways! To prove this, I never find this place empty its always packed with people eating in and taking away!
