Afghan Kitchen - Islington

My daughter and I visited the Afghan cuisine for the second time in september. Once again they only accept cash, four years after our last visit to dinner. we have deducted cash from a nearby machine and ordered lunch, which was something...just for what it was, including for a bowl rice and for dhall. the non-itemized bill came to which I paid. we made ourselves feel underwhelmed by the microwave meal and then realized that the bill should have been only and not the accused rather a generous round of the managerin that we found out after our departure. the eating itself, while the microwave, was delicious, but not especially Afghan. I say as someone who lived in the country in recent years and visited paintings. sad to say, we do not expect to visit a third,

We went with our friends to celebrate birthday party. the restaurant is small and cozy and the food is to be shared. meals were very delicious and we ordered extras. the waiters helped all the time. overall highly recommended.

Fish dish was really nice, not cod' as I said, but delicious spicy. p’haps something too oily. friend enjoyed lamb shell. service ok. no reception. maybe return.

To be honest, not to say anything, but great service and great eating, I recommend especially the aubergine and yogurt, as well as the chicken yoghurt, well prepared and served.

Afgan Kitchen ia a nice restaurant with a friendly, smiling and helpful staff. I love these kind of restaurants, very easy going The menu is simple and the meals are tasty, maybe with small portions compared to what I supposed to have. For a starter,...a main dish and a drink, I paid A good price. If you want to spend an easy night out for a simple meal with friends, go for it!!
