Wild Dunes Resort Sweetgrass Inn And Boardwalk Inn Destination By Hyatt

We stayed at the resort in the middle of this past July. The resort itself was pretty and clean with decent restaurants. We prepaid for our room through a travel agent. When checking out we paid the additional fees and the cost to valet our car. 3 weeks after returning home, my credit card was charged an additional $145. When I called about the charge, I was told that was the balance I still owed. When I stated that everything was paid through a travel agent and I did pay additional costs at check out, I was put on hold to look into the issue. They returned to my call stating that sometimes the system makes a mistake, and that's what I still owed. I did not receive a bill or even a receipt explaining these charges. It seems really suspicious to me to charge a guest 3 weeks after their stay with no real explanation of the charges. Hoping no more additional charges show up on my card in the next few months.

I just checked in today and we will be here for a week. We are here for our 10th anniversary. We was set up in a condo that was top notch. Well it's was dirty outdated so unsafe and gross. My wife broke down in tears. Our travel agent reached out to sweet grass in less then a hour we was in a beautiful room here and so clean. Hayden the manager went above and beyond to fix what the condo people did.

We stayed at Villa on wild dunes, but the amenities at this resort were great. Yeah, it's resort pricing for everything, but the options were all awesome. Pools, family activities, Beach Access, bars, restaurants, it was all greatNearby activities: Golf, Beach, restaurants, bars

We rented a 3 bedroom house that was nice but very dated. The food is mediocre and you can not see a receipt so good luck not getting overcharged. We rented a cabana for $400 plus 20% mandatory gratuity and taxes and did not see a server or attendant until 11:30am. Even after they greeted us we had sporadic service. You will pay $80+ a day in resort fees and you will NOT get a beach towel. I heard so many people complaining about the lack of towels. The pools are warm and murky, not clear. The grounds are dirty, there is trash everywhere. As a family that travels several times a year, this was a disappointment. The best part of the trip was the shuttle service, the resort has very little parking so you should call the shuttle to get around. Or better yet, go somewhere else.

We had the best time here. I can’t think of anything about this place we didn’t enjoy. Starting with the staff they’re all so nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job keeping it that way. The restaurant’s are very good and the beach and pool were both great! We enjoyed being able to go to the adults only pool for some quiet time. Pool service was available at all times there too! I highly recommend this place!
