Bidrage med feedbackDuring the off-season, we visited this restaurant and found that the main cafe was closed. However, they had a self-serve cafe open that offered tea, coffee, and three cakes, two of which were vegan. The suggested donation was £1 for a piece of cake and £1 for tea or coffee. We look forward to returning during the open season. Be sure to explore the sculpture trail, which features great sculptures and beautiful scenery.
The restaurant offers oat milk for hot drinks and also had a delicious vegan flapjack. However, they mistakenly poured dairy milk into the milk jug when I asked for more oat milk. I'm glad I caught the mistake!
The vegan menu primarily consists of soups that are satisfying and perfect for a chilly day. However, I was disappointed to find a small pack of dairy butter served with my vegan soup. Despite this, the location is fantastic, and the walk down to Calgary Bay is a must-see attraction in itself. Definitely worth a visit for the stunning scenery alone.
The vegan options at this restaurant consist mainly of delicious soups that are perfect for warming up on a cold day. However, despite requesting a vegan soup, I was disappointed to find a small packet of milk butter served with my meal, which was a bit frustrating. The location is fantastic, with a scenic walk to Calgary Bay that is definitely a must-see. Overall, worth a visit for the location alone.
