We started our week long visit at this restaurant and ended there as well. The food was AMAZING!!! We can't wait to go back again!
Mario, Carolyn, Manuel and Francisco are the STARS of this luxurious and DElicious restaurant. They truly care that you enjoy every bite and that you are treated as VIP's!
I had the Spring Roll and Tuna Tataki, both were delicious. My wife had the Pad Thai and gushed about it. The service was attentive. Not a negative thing to say. They even had some entertainment. Highly recommend.
We ate in Takeshi several times over our two week stay. On the night we arrived we saw queues and wanted to avoid it so tried to book for another day. That wasn't allowed, apparently. However, we never saw the queues again and were able to walk straight in every time we went. The menu is pan Asian, not exclusively Japanese. There is a really good variety and every one was great. We particularly liked the spring roll (best ever super crisp! , tuna tataki, and the curry... But the rolls were lovely too, and the stir fry... Only feedback on the food front would be, as with elsewhere in the hotel, that we would have liked the ability to make it spicier (chilli flakes or oil or similar . Even when we asked for extra spicy, it wasn't. Service was great. However, the very high ceilings paired with no soft furnishings anywhere and large groups of diners does mean it can be rather noisy and lack atmosphere. Having said that, reliably delicious and probably our favourite place to eat. We did go through to the Japaene in Estudio but whilst the food was good and the waiter was trying (only one of him , the service was a bit slow, the seats were really stained, lots of children, and really felt more of a fast food/canteen kind of restaurant so not what we wanted in the evenings. I think having Takeshi in the hotel really helps to give good dining variety and thoroughly recommend it.
