Whiskey Cake Las Colinas - Irving

Brunch at whiskey cake is one of the best! I always try something else when I go, because there are many great choices of food. this was my first time trying the love me do alcoholic cold brewing drink, it was delicious

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Service was fantastic! Enjoyed a chopped chicken salad. Only 4 stars because I would’ve loved some healthier options for an appetizer. Otherwise it was all delicious and the atmosphere is great!

Food was very good. Drinks were fabulous. Whiskey cake for dessert was to die for delicious. Staff was very cool and eclectic, but not very friendly. We weren't waited on for quite a while and I finally got up and grabbed a water pitcher for us myself. We made reservations online and asked for a regular table not a high top but we were seated at a high top. The decor is cool and fun. I think it would be a great place to meet friends for drinks and dessert. The place would be 5 stars if the staff could stop being too cool to speak to you and make conversation.

This place is fabulous!!! I ordered the Guava Gimlet to start and it was so good that I had two more. We ordered the onion dip for an appetizer and it was delicious- really loved the chips! I ordered the chicken and waffle which was much different from most places but it was so much better! The chicken was so tender, the gravy had a little spice and the slight sweetness of the waffle was just perfect. Of course we had to try the whiskey cake and oh man! it did not disappoint. We will be back!!!

The food was absolutely fantastic. Everything from beginning to end was so flavorful and unique. Being there first time, we got to hear so much history of Whiskey Cake and where the meat and whiskey come from. It was an amazing experience. The waiter we had was very charismatic and knowledgeable of the restaurant. We left a very generous tip due to the service and history. The food took a little bit to get to us, but we are very patient and the waiter apologized for the delay. It was a very unique experience and I highly recommend going for a date night if you’re willing to spend a little extra. I will definitely be returning.
