Pepper Lunch - Irvine

Craving a hot plate of squirting meat and rice? don't look further than pepper lunch! it was a little waiting for a party of 2, about 15 or so minutes to get space. After we had set ourselves, the food took another 10 minutes to get out of the order. I ordered the two meat sizzling curry with bark meat and seafood and a fried egg (a $1.50 extra.) the meats were well seasoned and paired with the curry that was rich and savory with a hauch of sweet that complements the savory aromen. the rice was perfectly boiled and the dazzling plate on which it was served was in the did slumbering hot! for $16.50 a plate (keif when it was up to the single meat,) this place will let it fulfill. the portions are not too large or too small - they are right!

I have the kimchi beef pepper rice, it was good, not exceptional. the bark and the rice were good and the seasoning level was perfect. I would like to know if they were more accurate about each ingredient in each menu item. I was a bit lost, what to order. the portions also feel a little small for me, it needed more of the bark. I know that they know that the bark content is too small, or they would not have the opportunity to increase meat by 50% or 100% in the menu. it was good and I would come back when someone invited me, but I probably won't long it. the service was good and the order came to us really fast. give 5 stars ursache 4 seems unfair. 4.5 stars maybe.

Very unique and funny concept, perfect for irvine. great customer service, interaktiw and tasty. the standard size will not fill them completely if they are very hungry, but it is enough for a light lunch. remember to remove the paper limit (what is there to remind them not to touch the hot plate) otherwise try to work the food will be a little unpleasant ward we got 2 dishes, the subscript bark and the curry bark and the price was quite reasonable $12,80 everyone.

We eat here every time we're in oc. I was very addicted to this place when I lived in japan, there is one close to where I live. the portions are larger than their Japanese counterpart, the bark quality is also somewhat different, but still fantastic. I recommend trying this place, even if they have never heard of it.

Awesome. I got the curry, and it was good but honestly the side sauces they give you (garlic and sweet) were enough.
