Jj Bakery Cafe - Irvine

We've been here for years. I love this place. It's good that they always change the bread bags, so there's always something new. Last week I saw a 'Football BTM'. Another bread that was not on her website menu. So sweet!

This was my first order from this bakery, they did an EXCELLENT job! Usually I bake the birthday cakes for our family, it was the birthday of my youngest grandson, but our AC was out for a few days, we had no idea if it wanted to be repaired, there was no way I used the oven! Not even for my sweet grandson! The lady I talked to on the phone was super nice. She made some suggestions to help me choose. We ordered a chocolate cake with a chocolate fresh strawberry filling. It was absolutely delicious! It had a beautiful, light chocolate whipped creamy filling freezing. It was also very nicely decorated. And I could even pick it up at Labor Day! We will definitely return to this bakery!

Asian-style bakery with many soft milk bread and tasty stuffed like red bean beans, mochi bread, etc. The cafe is closed, but you can take it and sit outside. Unfortunately, each item is wrapped in plastic in the store.

One would deal with salaried employees who are not well managed by owner. Profit is not her core concern, and hence customer 's needs are not neither. And they appear to be under staffed. It was supposed to be open till 9pm but we were unable to find anyone when we arrived by 8:40pm. We went back the next morning to order some birthday cakes, but was told the chef would not have time to write happy birthday on the cakes if we need them by noon time next day because the chef will be off... Oh mine, they don 't have enough staff to cover 7 days a week per their published schedule...

Seriously this place is amazing. The bread is so fresh and delicious. Everything I have had has been awesome! They are very nice also. This place is extremely dangerous for people like myself that love bread and carbs. This is a must try if you are in the area. It is a hidden gem.
