Don Gg's Food Spirits - Ironwood

I eat there at least twice a week and since toni and their crew took it, it has the best eating in ironwood, or somewhere else at the west end or northwoods. the best.

Eating and service has been downhill since the sale of don gg’s definitiw. I hope they can bring theirs together and bring him back to what he was. our last visit was extremely disappointing.

This restaurant in michigan’s up is really the example that shows that great food can be made anywhere at an affordable price. the owners and chefs of don gg have much effort in creating a unique and tasty menu for lunch and dinner. with a full bar and indoor and outdoor terrace seating they enjoy a wonderful culinary experience when they are within 50 miles of this restaurant they have to try. they will not be disappointed.

My mother and I were in town for a short, mini vacation enjoying some shopping and beautiful sites and stumbled upon this restaurant craving some “home made food” and did we find it!?!! You guys! They make all sauces in house and they are all incredible! The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly, as was my mother’s Filet, like PERFECT! Even the dressings were crafted in house and the Italian is making my mouth water just recalling it! Produce is fresh, cuts of meat were fantastic and the overall feeling was just warm and inviting! This place is cruising under the radar and if you want a quite hidden gem with exceptional food! This is it!

Very friendly local restaurant. Staff was very welcoming to everyone that came in. Got the Ironwood burger, and white cheddar cheese curds. Curds were amazing and the burger cooked to order and seasoned great. Also had the Northern Lights cocktail. It was good, but in my opinion could have used a little more sweetness, but still good. Note that the menu seems to change a bit, so the photos will not always be accurate of what's available. But if my burger was any indication, you won't go wrong with anything.
