ΤΑΒΕΡΝΑΚΙ Ο ΜΑΓΟΣ

One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Very big meal for only ~7 euros. My friends ate mousaka and it was also great and very cheap. I really recommend this place.

Had an awesome lunch. Greek salad, chicken with tomato, mustard sauce and basil. Dessert of ice cream with chocolate sauce was on the house with a 49 alcoholic beverage. Great service as well. Highly recommend.

Had started there and had 2 appetizers tzatziki and some traditional Cretan pork slowly cooked and seasoned with oregano and Mediterranean, was amazing, for seconds burger not traditional americans style, but with some Cretan character and some moussaka both very good. in a short 3-day stay had started 3 times there.

I can't rave enough about food in the Magos taverna. One of the best ever tasted. We have tried food in many others tavernas in Crete and came back to this place. I can't wait to take a flight to Heraklion and come back to the best Cretan restaurant!

An amazing Cretan experience where the quality of the food is simply outstanding! An extensive menu of Cretan dishes with a Mediterranean fusion for all tastes makes this place well worth a visit. As a local cretean and Greek myself, I can wholeheartedly recommend the delicious and reasonably priced dishes that Magos (the magician) has to offer.
