Bobby Mac's Bayside Tavern Grill - Ira

Visited this past Sunday for the first time in a year. Was pleasantly surprised at the fresh atmosphere prior visits felt old, dingy, out dated! My first impression was the friendly staff the lighter brighter feel of the inside. It was too windy for outdoor seating, but we were given a prime window table for optimal views. Manager Julie Waitress Kayla were both attentive and accommodating! Calamari for appetizer, warm fresh bread and butter, started our dining experience… off to a great start! The entree portions were perfect served properly plated. French onion soup was good, but the tomato bisque style soup hit the mark! My asparagus paired the chicken picatta entree well, cooked to a perfect crisp to enjoy! We were able to enjoy our meal without being rushed and the service was excellent! After chatting with the manager about my experience we decided this would definitely be a spot to dine again! (I took a first timer who’s also culinary trained foodie)

First time there !food was verry good friendly waitress !! She was quick and also verry nice to talk to and look at!

Hadn’t been there in years, thought we would try it again. We ordered the perch at $23.00 per meal, which is average for quality food. Ordered it sautéed; tasted more like fried,too greasy and had bones. You got two sides, we ordered the mashed potatoes and salad ; only to find out there was a $2.00 up charge for each. If I wanted fries and slaw I would have gone to McDonalds. The bread was a large stick, you would get with pizza;very greasy. Needless to say after spending $72.00,we were very disappointed. We eat out a lot and this was not the quality we get elsewhere.

I stopped in because I've heard that they have the best French Onion soup in the area. They did not disappoint.

Dirty silver wear was what put me off! It's very dirty and the food is like microwave old food!! The table was dirty, floor was gross!! All I ordered was seasoned fries?? It was less than a handful and they were not seasoned and our food was cold! It's a shame they let this place go!! I was very disappointed and I wouldn't recommend this establishment!! Ps my dog wouldn't eat the left overs!!
