Iowa City Farmers Market

This is one of my favorite Farmer's markets in the mid-west. We always go there when visiting Iowa City. The produce is outstanding and the vendors really care about their products. I bought some beets, even though I've never cooked them before. The farmer assured me I would love them and texted me a recipe for roasted beets with a balsamic/honey glaze. She said if I didn't love them she'd refund my money. I am now a beets fan?. Also picked up some locally made artisanal hot sauce. WOW, so good it blew my mind, both literally and figuratively ?

Cute place to shop and get local produce. Delicious meat, bread, vegetables, candy, honey, etc. Friendly shop owners.

Farmers market with a good selection of produce, meats, baked goods and crafts. It is held on the ground floor of a parking ramp, right next to a park. There are also food trucks available. The vendors tended to prefer larger amounts for credit card transactions.
