The Invermere Bakery

Arrived looking for some sort of buns but late in the day so got some fabulously soft french bread instead! The short wait in line convinced the two of us to have fresh donuts and hot drinks and they too were awesome although the Chai Latte was a tad on the cool side... Recommend stopping here if you like your bread and buns fresh!!!

The items we picked up were not tasty at all, really lacking flavor, which was too bad for us because they were not cheap. We also ate some custom made birthday cake from this bakery at a family members party, it was again not very good. Even the kids didn't like it. Can't argue with kids and cake.

Whenever we are in the area we always make a point of going to the Invermere Bakery. The baked goods and coffee are always good. My only complaint is the slowness of the queue. The place is always busy and might benefit from more counter staff. I realize that once at the counter people have a hard time making up their mind about which goodie they want to get. I’m guilty of that myself. ?

Only bakery in town. Line up is insane, products are ok, prices generally don't make any sense (all over the place). Average product for a premium price...Expected in a small tourist town.
