Zum Weissbierbrauer Kuchlbauer is a local Beer Garden restaurant with Delicious food and awesome BEER. Inside interior of the restaurant is a Beer Museum !!!! Hole atmosphere is good, feels like hundreds of years ago ......Next time i'm in Ingolstadt, I will definitely visit...this place again.

This restaurant and brewery has a very nice interior with a lot of wood! Decent local bayerish cuisine. the local beer is not bad at all too.

A couple of friends and I had driven to Ingolstadt from Swedish Lapland over three days, and were obviously rather tired when we arrived. The others bought a couple of beer cans from a supermarket to unceremoniously drink in the hotel room, but I absolutely...insisted that you can't visit an historic old Bavarian town without paying the local beer some respect. So into the old town we went and stumbled on this marvellous biermuseum. The food was excellent (we all had Münchener Schnitzel) and the assortment of beers we tried were all SO much better than any canned supermarket beer you can ever conceive of. Regardless of why you might find yourself in Ingolstadt, this is a place not to miss! The place oozes of atmosphere, and the food and beer are certainly memorable. Oh, and did I mention the dirndl-clad waitresses?

We have been to this restaurant with a friend who is living in Ingolstadt since last year. The atmosphere is very bavarian and so is the food. We tried a roasted pork with a knoedel. Good the apple strudel. We might come back

My wife lived in Ingolstadt in 2002 and we had to return to her local hunt, the Kuchlbauer. We were easily turned off as a few reviews it had marked down, and it was not as busy as some nearby places. But... the food was amazing and service was great, including helping us translate a few things in English perfect!
