Excellent food and service. eat well. service was very friendly, fast service.

I was in town for a business trip. Asked hotel staff for a good Mexican restaurant. Was I in for a tragedy. The menu gave me the choice for chicken or beef and the server didn't give me the opportunity to pick. Food arrived in short time and was hot. The rest goes down hill. The mystery beef was on the same level of that served in schools. The beans were horrible and tasted like they were from a packet and then they add water. The salsa was horrendous and had a very off taste that I couldn't put my finger on. Please...Please....Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Go across the street to Taco Johns for the same level of goodness! Too bad there is not negative stars!

My family dined here last year when it was La Casa in 2021. It was pretty good. We came back to visit May 2022 and... Wow. What an excellent new restaurant now.You walk in and the vibe hits you. The music is hot reggaetone. I was dancing all the way to our table. ?The atmosphere is festive, fresh and vibrant. The wait staff is friendly and quick.I had the Chori Pollo. It was amazing! I am from Colorado, but this will be our go to dining out when we come visit.

I've tried eating at that place and every time the chicken is so dry and overcooked. The beef was burnt. This last time I ordered Guadalajara special and again it was loaded with overcooked and dry chicken. Only three pieces of shrimp, very little cheese sauce. Terrible!!!

New name, updated menu, but same GREAT food. My favorite Authentic Mexican restaurant in the Des Moines area. 5 stars!!!
