Fitzgerald's Lunch House - Indianapolis

Great lunch spot at the Fort. I ordered the Rooster and the flavor profile is delicious. The bread is a bit thick for the chicken, as it soaked up all my juicy goodness making my sandwich a bit dry. The mashed potato salad is smoky goodness. Othersmembers in our party tried their Wibur, abd it didn't disappoint very moist pulled pork sandwich with a smoky flavor and yummybarbecue sauce. Been before and will come again. Best spot in the Fort for sandwiches.

They have the most fresh ingredients best salads in town. I had the Garden Rooster it was amazing. The homemade dressing fresh ingredients was so delicious. I even had leftovers. Thank you to the cooks staff this place is a hidden gem.

My wife and I stopped by for lunch after a hike at Fort Ben. When we walked in we were greeted by the mother of the owner. She was very friendly and asked if it was our first time eating there. It was. She explained everything about the menu before weordered. After we sat down, the owner came by with a couple of samples of Mac and Cheese, Baked Potato Casserole and Homemadepickles. They were absolutely delicious. And what restaurant does that anymore? Boy talk about enticing your customers to comeback. Our sandwiches were amazing. Great customer service, great food and such nice people. Highly recommend and we will begoing back?..

My sandwich was delicious! I ordered The Rooster and the sauce had a little spice, just enough to keep my attention but not enough to hurt my feelings. The slices of chicken were thick but certainly not dry. The entire sandwich was an excellent combo.The owners were welcoming, and I enjoyed their friendly banter with the regulars I was with. I can't wait to come back and trysome different sandwiches.

First time here. Did not disappoint! I got the Rooster salad, hubby got the wings special, and my son got the Cubano sandwich. All were amazing!! Highly recommend!
