California Burger - Indianapolis

I can say this location on the Westside; its food quality is not even close to the Castleton location. Biggest disappointment and waste of 60.00.The lettuce tasted and smelled old.The meat seemed idk not fresh. I ordered the #16, and this sandwich somehow turned out dry and smelling like funky lettuce.As for services we 'll she couldn 't close the slider door fast enough. They seemly don 't want you to see inside their establishment. Not much for service. Maybe their nice people, but I couldn 't tell when they hide behind their vapcked out slider window and don 't speak two words of hospitality.But hey, the french fries were hot, at least...I really just want my money back because I can 't get my time back with my family after the Basketball game.

Omg today I came around 12 or 12:30 and tried the number 16 and my girlfriend got a number 12 with everything and extra sauce and one larger curly fries she said that’s her favourite hamburger she ever tried in so long customer services was great I just couldn’t hear the lady

The food was very good. Well, go back again, but next time, really give me the extra sauce I paid for.

I'm from California so I got excited and hoped it would be like IN n Out burger. It's trying but it's not even close. That being said it's not bad for what it is. If you miss an overpriced economy it does make you feel like you are in California. We got 2 double burgers extra cheese no lettuce(because their lettuce doesn't smell good, I take them home and put my own fresh lettuce on) and 1 large curly fry and it was $27. They also take longer than the average drive thru. They have a peanut butter chocolate shake which is hard to come by in the shake world. But they were out of chocolate when we visited. It's not our first choice or last resort but it does make our list from time to time.

First time here and it was pretty good. Can't wait to go back and try a milkshake.
