Bidrage med feedbackMy daughter and her little kids and I stayed to relax a few days by the pool. The food in Indian Wells is great. The hotel has a floor show (I think 6 nights a week). We really enjoyed the music and the ambience, remembering 1940s glamour completely with crooners. My 7-year-old granddaughter was thrilled. Even the 4 years and 18 months were attentive. Yes, the hotel is older, although quite well renovated, the carpet in the dining area left a little to wish left. The pool and hot tub are super, clean and well maintained. Pool service, food and drinks are pretty good. The view is beautiful. Most of the staff and girls are very attractive and personal. We had a very nice time.

The beds are comfortable, the pool is great, the smell of fresh grass on the golf course. The resort is not old; it is a vintage feeling of classic Hollywood photos. It would have assigned a 5* rating if not for the overpriced food and beverage and bathroom problems, but the service, room and the entire presentation were quite excellent. I recommend it.
We had a nice stay here. The area was relaxing and quiet with beautiful views. This is a “retro” place that means they have made some updates, but walls are still thin and you can hear everything. The shower head could be replaced, but overall we were comfortable here. The hot tub was great and although we don't keep around for the nightly entertainment, it's funny that they have something for you. My only complaint and reason not to give them 5 stars is the continental breakfast “deluxe”. According to other reviews, this has been for years, so I cannot imagine that they are interested in changes. They had bread, hard boiled eggs, oat flakes, yogurt and the standard handle go fruit (apple, orange, bananas). Some fresh berries or nuts would be nice for the oat flakes and maybe some scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon. It wasn't terrible, but I had better in a Comfort Inn, so the expectations were a bit higher for here. Maybe you stop calling it a deluxe breakfast and people will not have so high expectations.
Went for the first time Saturday night. The hotel takes you right back in time to Lucy and Desi. Photos of great entertainers line the walls and the hotel entry has a gorgeous spiral staircase. My eyes just didn't know where to look. It was absolutely amazing. We ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent but the greatest part of the evening was the live entertainment. Singer Christine Love just took our breath away. She was incredible! What a magical place this is. If you come to the desert make sure this is on your list of places to go. You will walk away with a giant smile on your face. I promise!
