Make And Break Cafe - INDIAN HARBOUR

We were riding down the road looking for a place to eat whole lobster. Saw a sign for one pound lobster for &20.00. Decided to give it a try and so glad we did. Family restaurant with probably the best lobster we have had ever. It doesn't open till 1:00 so that could be a problem. It worked out for us The owner works more than one job so is a busy man. The service was great. What would you expect from family.

We were out toodling around on a Sunday and wanted to stop to eat. All our usual places were full up with tourists so we just kept heading down the Peggy's Cove Rd and decided to stop as there wasn't a car in the park.The place is neat as a pin and newly done inside. Excellent service and the food was delicious. My partner had a very generous fish and chips and the fries were hand cut and crisp. I had a delicious salad with pan fried haddock. Super fresh fish that was seasoned well. The gift shop next door has mostly handmade quality stuff and a huge selection. By the time we left the car park was full of patrons. This place is amazing.We will be back to enjoy the view and the super fresh food.

I do local Tours in the Peggy's Cove area from Halifax and made the stop in with family to try the Make and Break. Was very pleased with the owner and service. The food was quick to come out and tasty. I had the two piece fish and chips. Large portions and could have been satisfied with just one. The girlfriend had the Hillbilly Burger and really enjoyed it and her daughter had the Ruben Sandwich and also found it tasty. The attached gift shop is nicely laid out with local artists supported. Newly painted on the exterior freshens up the place and I look forward to stoping in with my guests on tour in the near future.

Great little place family owned and operated, great fresh food,good prices. Very friendly and clean. A must if in the area recommend by locals.

Stopped on suggestion from a staff member in Peggy's Cove . Pleasant atmosphere , very clean ( small gift shop attached ) Young couple have owned the place for about a year and are doing a great job making improvements as they go along . Off the beaten path of Peggy"s Cove ... Overall the food was great HOME COOKED (yay) I tried the lobster roll and delighted it wasn't floating in mayo . WELL WORTH A STOP . Super friendly Husband and Wife team .
