Arandas Cafe - Imperial Beach

Used to be my favorite breakfast/brunch place. service was never outstanding, but today was the worst: party of seven, arrived around 1:00 pm (hours are listed from 7am to 2pm), came in, ordered and everything was good, until 1:30ish when they stopped coming to the table to check if we were alright, no asking if we needed more food or water, no bringing the check, no picking up the money. everything from 1:30 was practically self-service. food is still good although the pepperoni flatbread and berry bliss french toast, which were my favorite to order, aren't nearly as delicious as they were last year. quality of preparation varies from day to day. crepes and other dishes are sometimes missing ingredients which the staff doesn't let you know beforehand. the lattes never fail, though, and orange juice is always fresh and delicious. another dish that has stayed solidly good is the smoked salmon toast.Dietary restrictions: non-diary substitutes and decaf are always available for the coffees!

Cute atmosphere with exceptional service and delicious food. Great spot for brunch, and would heavily recommend if you've got the money to spare. It's a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it! The ham was a bit tough and I would have preferred a sharper knife to cut it with, but it still tasted delicious and would absolutely go back.

Loved it :D I'm sure during summertime it will be busier due to the sitting outside, but glad there's the option of indoor

Honestly this is the second time I give this place a chance somehow they always forget my order people had their drinks before me when they’ve arrived after me was there for over 40 minutes with no drink not even water then my food comes out with no drink once again the food was alright but super hard bread in this time I was still waiting for my coffee after I had reminded them constantly then I had a second plate they had also forgot about at this point I just asked for the check and they brought me my last plate still no drink I reminded them again and they brought hot instead of iced I was just like no more chances for this place it’s literally ridiculous and the food you can find it elsewhere better and with better customer service and less wait time
