Tubby's Sub Shop - Imlay City

I always love the food at Tubby, but this location has trouble getting orders right if you make any changes to your sub. We ordered 2 subs. One had dressing on the side; one had no tomatoes. She put tomatoes on both, I noticed so she took them off. She was also going to put the dressing on the wrong sub but I noticed and corrected it. The last few orders before this had some mistakes as well. Simple order changes always seem to get messed up. There are plenty of places to eat in Imlay City, so I am likely to take my business to those places in the future. Tubbys has great food, but this location needs employees that can get the orders right.

The subs are good but too pricey. The employees seem nice but the place doesn't seem welcoming Wheelchair accessibility: No steps first floor

First and foremost pack your patience when coming to this Tubbys. It 's not a great location if your on a time crunch. Food was meh, not great but not bad either. The prices were significantly higher then any other tubbys....chicken fajita is supposed to be sub of the month 9.99 but I was charged full price. Now before you say well why didn 't you argue , the place was being ran by a kid who couldn 't be more then 13 years old. That was strange, don 't get me wrong he was super sweet and did a great job cooking subs aside from one at a time but seeing no adult anywhere on the premise caught me very off guard. I 'm not local, this was a stop on a road trip, I 'm not sure it will be a future stop just because of how long it takes to get food.....I read the please be patient sign but 30 minutes when your the only one in the place is a bit excessive. At least it was clean inside, that 's worth something.

I loved how nice the owner and his son were. It was my first time ever having tubbys and I recommend it for everyone. The food was amazing and the service was even more amazing. It was nice to see a father and son working together because you don't get to see that now a days, it was awesome to see that. Thank you ?

Thought I would give the new owner a try.... whoa buddy.1). What the child labor laws is going on in here. This kid isn't old enough to do this.2). Order by phone was meh, seemed annoyed I was ordering.3). The CHILD (like 12) that rang me up, prepared my food, and brought the bag to me was visibly ill. Sickly, obviously pale, actively sniffling, no gloves, hair or mask protection.The only adult was on standby in the back eating. I left my food on the counter won't be back.
